AI-Powered Joomla Development: From MCP Servers to Automated workflows

This month Gary and Phil are diving into how they're using Claude Code in their day-to-day Joomla work — and beyond.

Phil will be live-coding a Joomla extension from scratch using Claude Code, showing how conversational AI handles the scaffolding, MVC structure, language strings and packaging that usually eats up your afternoon.

Time permitting, Gary will demo two projects built with Claude Code: joomla6-mcp, an open-source MCP server that gives AI tools deep awareness of Joomla's codebase and conventions, and the JUGL Pipeline, which automates the content around these very meetups.

Whether you're already using AI in your workflow or still wondering what all the fuss is about, come along and see what's actually possible right now.
